Our own youngsters have been more than willing to join the effort on behalf of the far less fortunate children at Dr. Tolle's Lesotho clinic.


The "Cathedral of Hope"  (Dallas TX) Children's Ministry Summer Sharing School Program collected over 2000 beanies and had such fun bringing them in each day under the guidance of Dan Peeler. Please  see photos of the blessing of the beanies. During summer 2007 they will collect dimes, quarters, nickels and pennies to donate to the fund to build a playground for the child patients of the Lesotho clinic.

Thanks to my donors these children have wonderful smiley faces. 

Third grade students at Hyer Elementary School, University Park,(Dallas TX ) did chores at home and in school to raise $150.00 for the Lesotho Children's Fund. They also gave up their favorite treats, ice cream, candy etc. and put that money towards the donation.  They  brought toys and beanies in to be sent to Africa. They are shown at the school having lots of fun as they presented Grenda Walton with a check. Their teacher, Ms. Elizabeth Sieg, enthusiastically encouraged the children to contribute.  Thanks also go to Mrs Audrey Schmit, whose son, Luke is in Ms. Seig's class, for bringing the charity to the attention of his teacher

Volunteer to collect pocket change at your place of business or school. We also still need beanie babies and soft toys. If you wish to donate any items for our garage sales or eBay sales we would greatly appreciate your help. Beanie Babies and soft toys will never go on eBay.
